ExpLORE for instructors is the Experiential Learning Opportunities, Resources, and Education Fund that is available to support instructors who are developing or enhancing curriculum-integrated Experiential Learning (EL) or Service Learning (SL) activities that will help to inform programs and practices at the University of Regina and will serve to improve the learning experience of students. Fund Description

Instructors can receive up to $1,000 each academic year towards EL or SL activity expenses incurred up to six months prior to application approval. Examples of costs covered include (but are not limited to) transportation costs for the execution of EL or SL activity, venue/entrance fees, and software licenses.
Funds can be issued for permitted Experiential Learning (EL) or Service Learning (SL) expenses incurred up to six months prior to application approval.
Attach to this application a proposal of your curriculum-integrated EL or SL activity. Applicants should propose an activity such as (but not limited to) case studies, creative works, field trips, laboratories and studios, project-based learning, and community-based initiatives/projects. Proposals must include the following elements (2 pages maximum): description of the activity, evidence of acceptance of your activity as experiential learning based on University of Regina EL or SL typologies (Criteria-for-Experiential-or-Service-Learning.pdf), goals and rationale for the activity, description of how the impact of the activity will be evaluated, budget outline, plan for knowledge mobilization, and timeline.
To Complete this form, any expenses being requested for reimbursement MUST have one of more of the follow: receipt, invoice, or other confirmation of payment.
