The Faculty of Arts and the Community Engagement and Research Centre are hosting the upcoming Stapleford Lecture on November 6th at 7PM on the College Ave campus. Our presenter this year is Dr. Carmen Robertson, a former FNUniv Dept Head of Indian Fine Arts and U of R MAP faculty member. She is the current Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in North American Indigenous Visual and Material Culture at Carleton University. Dr. Robertson will be speaking on the topic, Picturing Land: Indigenous Aesthetics on the Flatland. It will be an amazing conversation about Indigenous art history in Saskatchewan!
