Dear Students,

We're reaching out to invite your community to the Regina Transit Town Hall on January 24th at Westminster Church.

City Council is set to approve a 10% fare hike, and we're bringing people together to celebrate what transit means to Regina and ask Council to keep it affordable.

Here's what's happening:

• 12pm to 5pm: Community mutual aid (drop in to help build meal kits)
• 5pm to 6pm: Free community supper
• 6pm to 8pm: Town hall with speakers, stories, and letter writing to Council

Transit is one of the best things a city can offer. It connects us to work, to family, to each other. It belongs to all of us. City Council is poised to raise fares by 10% if the bylaw passes its third reading in February. On January 24th, join your neighbours to celebrate what the bus means to Regina and tell Council to keep it affordable. Supper at 5pm, town hall at 6pm at Westminster Church. All welcome.
