Nonprofit–Municipal Roundtable Discussion

In March 2025, Mary Makinwa facilitated a nonprofit–municipal roundtable discussion in collaboration with the City of Regina, bringing together nonprofit leaders, city council, and administrative staff to address key community challenges.

The discussion focused on critical issues such as housing, food insecurity, mental health, and sustainable community infrastructure with the goal of strengthening partnerships and improving how organizations work together to support Regina’s community.

Through inclusive dialogue and collaboration, this project helped identify gaps in funding, communication, and coordination while encouraging innovative, long-term solutions.

This initiative highlights the power of conversation, connection, and leadership in driving meaningful social change.
