Cadet Piping & Drumming Project
Organized by: Excellence Agun
This project provides free piping and drumming lessons to youth in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, in collaboration with 34 Roland J. Groome RCACS, 2370 RCACS, and the Saskatchewan RCMP Pipes, Drums and Dancers.
Through weekly practices and hands-on instruction, cadets are learning the fundamentals of bagpipes, snare, and tenor/bass drumming all while building confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
So far, 16 cadets have been engaged (14 currently active), with consistent training since 2025 and a major milestone performance at ACR.
This initiative is about more than music. It’s about creating opportunities, preserving tradition, and building a strong future for the piping and drumming community in Regina.
